Altar Servers play a vital role in our weekly celebration by assisting the priest prior to, during, and at the conclusion of the Mass. The altar is prepared, candles are lit, the bell is rung, books are held, gifts are prepared, and items are put away in their proper places after the conclusion of the Mass.
If you (or your child) have an interest in learning more about becoming an Altar Server, please contact the rectory for more information.
An Altar Server schedule is prepared in advance to be sure we have adequate coverage for all weekend Masses and Holy Days of Obligation. Altar Servers may also requested to serve at other times and for special occasions such as funerals, weddings, First Communions, Confirmations, etc.).
