A good altar server has a wonderful impact on the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Your reverence and attentive service set a tone in the sanctuary that affects the whole congregation and helps everyone to participate better. Good serving helps the priests and/or deacons to pray and lead the people more effectively. It also gives great honor and glory to God and helps you to grow in his grace. It is an honor and a privilege that you can treasure for the rest of your lives. God will never be outdone in generosity, so if you are generous and diligent in your efforts to perform this service at his altar to the best of your ability, he will surely bless you super abundantly.
